Happy Thursday!
This is the kind of weather you don’t waste. Mid 60s, low 70s, sunshine… you can’t tell me you’re staying inside for that.
What are you getting into this weekend?
Hit reply and let me know. I’m always looking for new spots, random finds, and what people are actually doing.
Let’s get to it!

Local Snapshots
🍸 A New Cocktail Lounge Is Coming to Chattanooga
The team behind Sleepyhead Coffee is bringing a new concept to the city, and it’s built around one idea: disconnecting.
“Do Not Disturb” will be more than just a cocktail bar. It’s designed as a space to unplug, slow down, and spend intentional time with the people around you. Expect a mix of food, drinks, and an atmosphere that encourages conversation over screens.
It’s another sign Chattanooga’s food and drink scene is continuing to evolve toward more experience-driven spaces — and if Sleepyhead is any indication, this one will be worth the visit.
🎓 Tennessee Moves Toward Hunter Education
Tennessee lawmakers have passed legislation that would allow students to earn school credit for completing hunter education courses.
If approved, students in grades 5–12 could take these classes as part of physical education, health, or safety curriculum. The courses would be overseen by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and count toward official hunter safety certification.
Supporters say the move gives students structured access to outdoor education while promoting firearm safety and conservation awareness.
🎭 Scenic City Sideshows Return Downtown
Street performances are back in Chattanooga with the return of Scenic City Sideshows.
Performers are popping up across downtown throughout the week, bringing a mix of music, entertainment, and unexpected moments to public spaces. Early appearances have already included a variety of acts, with more expected as the program continues.
It’s a small but meaningful way the city is bringing more energy and creativity into everyday downtown life.

TOGETHER WITH RESTORATION 1 OF CHATTANOOGA
🏠️ Not Everything You Find This Spring Is Harmless

You find something while cleaning… and you already know it’s not right.
That smell.
That damp spot.
That stain you don’t remember being there.
You can ignore it, most people do.
But around Chattanooga, that’s usually how small water issues turn into mold and bigger damage later.
If you saw something during your spring cleaning, it’s worth getting it checked before it spreads.
Restoration 1 of Chattanooga handles water damage and mold issues and can tell you exactly what you’re dealing with.
