Local Snapshots

🍂 Fall Food Truck Rally

Chattanooga Market is pulling out all the stops this Labor Day weekend with the return of the Fall Food Truck Rally on Sunday, August 31.

Starting at 11 AM, around three dozen food trucks will line up at First Horizon Pavilion, offering everything from tacos and Thai to burgers, donuts, and vegan eats. Guests can enjoy live music from Katie Cosentino, local brews, and over 150 artisan vendors.

Admission is free, so be sure to swing by and check out Chattanooga’s food truck scene!

🎊 Bel Lisboa Reopens After Fire

Bela Lisboa is officially open again after an electric vehicle fire forced it to close its doors last November.

The Portuguese and Mediterranean restaurant celebrated its grand reopening last Friday and has added Mediterranean dishes, extended its wine list, and upgraded to a full bar.

Next time you’re looking for somewhere to eat, stop by Bela Lisboa and show some support! The restaurant is located at 417 Frazier Avenue. You can check out the updated menu here.

🍽️ Nosh-A-Nooga Returns

Chattanooga’s Jewish Food Festival, Nosh-A-Nooga, is happening Sunday, September 7 from noon to 2 PM at Waterhouse Pavilion and Miller Park.

This family-friendly event is open to the public and offers a delicious way to experience Jewish culture through traditional food, music, and children’s activities. Guests can sample 19 different dishes, including brisket sliders, bourekas, falafel, kugel, challah, and more.

Each table features the story behind the dish to add a cultural touch. Tickets are $1 each, with most food items priced between 2 and 5 tickets!
